Pesky Bugs Macro Sunday

It has been a busy couple of weeks here with family visiting. I haven't spent much time in the garden so this morning I started out to see what is happening out here...my ornamental lilies are just starting to bloom so the flowerbeds will be at their peak the next couple of weeks. We also have a bumper crop of mosquito's so as much as I love taking pictures of the lilies....I was being eaten alive! Think it is a good day to play with the jewelry! (make sure to click on the pics so you can see the details)

Now go see what all these happy shooter's have captured!!

  5. Beautiful lilies! I wish the deer would leave me a few in my garden so I could even remember what color the flowers are…

  7. Kim, you are truly an amazing photographer! #1 and #7 are my favorite shots. It is so cool how you caught the ant right at the very tip of the flower petal - And those flowers are gorgeous - bright orange and yellow!
