Industrial Chic

Margo is having a linky party and I wanted to attend so I started thinking what a couple of my favorite repurposed projects are. The first one I am sharing is a project that I came up with when I was out junking and came across old lantern parts. A piece of wood, some rusty wire and viola.....a one of a kind picture holder!

The second one I would love to take the credit for but all I had to do was carry it home and sit in place...... My one of a kind end table. I love the old shipping crate fitted with boxes...a great place to stash all kinds of stuff in the living room. Just for the record the old lamp on the end table was bought at a sale for 2 bucks....they don't make them like that these days! It might not be industrial but I like the mix.

  2. Hey Kimmy....!

Your blog header is GORGEOUS....I have two furr babies myself but I'm totally USELESS at taking a decent pic of either of them....!!

LOVE your take on 'industrial chic'....The frames you made are WAY COOL & the storage piece with the crate boxes is DIVINE....!

    Have a FAB weekend....!

    Cheers from Australia,

  3. I've never seen a crate like that. Lots of storage. Love all those boxes. Such a great piece.

  4. That trunk is awesome! I really love the photo holders, too! Great party post! Lezlee

  5. The trunk is a great find and I love those photo holders. They look like Pottery Barn to me.

  6. Great repurpose with the lantern parts. I am always trying to come up with new creative ways to display photos and I really liked this one.
    The trunk is fabulous too!

  7. Great job on the frames and love the trunk! This is a great post for SNS.

  8. Kimmy I love your photo holders! Great use of the those lamp parts....may need to go dig in my garage...pretty sure there are some out there somewhere! Your end table is just wonderful too!!
