frazzled angel

I started with a bag of these found in a junk shop in MS. They intrigued me and just called out angel. (I have candy and tart molds--these are completely different so if you know what they are please share!) UPDATE--WE HAVE FIGURED THESE OUT AND THEY ARE TIN CAN LIDS BENT INTO THIS SHAPE!!! I AM CURRENTLY TRYING TO DUPLICATE THEM AND LET ME TELL YOU IT IS NOT EASY BUT I AM GETTING THERE.....

A wood ball for the head with a hole drilled through the top.

TIP! I use floss threaders to pull my hangers through the wood's my 30 years of dental background coming through(and a fixed retainer)!!

I used an awl to poke a hole through the top. Attach the head to the bowl with a screw.

"modern art"

Painted face details and an old zipper pieced out for her wings and collar.

Sisal for her hair, a zipper halo

We flit, we fly, we run on high.
Oh never fear our angel’s near.
We razzle, we dazzle
Oh my gosh she’s frazzled!
