Last spring we were "blessed" with Oreo picking our garage to move into. Later in the summer she again "blessed" us with 4 kittens. The girls we passed on to new homes and the boys stayed with Mama. Oreo is a "blessing" of unending antics. I have never heard her meow she chirps. Most crashes heard at our house are because once again she is up to no good. Last week a vase on top of the kitchen cabinets was knocked over. Strange, I thought. I later discovered that Oreo had discovered new territory to investigate. My fault! In a fit of cleaning I cleared off all the junk on top of the fridge! We now have 2 new coffee can decorations on top of the fridge to block her jumping up point. Last night the neighbors Lab decided to visit us. I looked over to see Oreo half out the "new" pet door(made by Bud when he got scared and couldn't get in the regular door). Needless to say she didn't care for the visitor but with her curious nature she was going to see who was out there. All human visitor 's cars must be checked--they are always a new adventure to investigate. We felt very fortunate that she didn't end up in my sister's car for the move to Florida--only her daughter Sammy continued on the new adventure.

This time of year we are lulled to sleep by the trilling of the frogs in the pond across the road. Add the tree frogs in our little garden pond and let the music roll. A great day to be a cat curled up in bed. We tried not to disturb them as we made the bed this morning. Mama was fast asleep so we made the bed over her and then uncovered her area. Bubba had been out in the garage playing and came flying into the house and up the stairs--probably fast asleep now next to Mama. We just stood in the kitchen laughing as it sounded like a herd of elephants going through the house. Big Bad Bud had done his job of guarding the porch overnight and had claimed his spot too. The mice and baby snakes will be safe for the day(we hope). The furry kids are so nice and thoughtful to bring us daily presents! The craft season is calling so I have gotten started in the craft room. Busy doing projects for customer orders. I am anxious to start on this year's Christmas ornie. I will be doing my magic to turn old checkers and domino's into treasures. We are coming up with new ideas for our silverware jewelry line. Trying to use all the discarded pieces from the bracelets has become quite a challenge. The garden lies waiting to be planted. I am late this year but, will enjoy Dad's garden until ours is producing. There is nothing better than a fresh garden lettuce and spinach salad. Even the kids request spinach and mandarin orange salad. Yum!

After numerous fix it repairs to our pet screen door we decided to splurge and buy a real pet storm door. I think it was easier to let them create their own hole in the screen. Hubby's BP is hopefully back to normal after what should have been a quick installation. Not at our house. It was a long afternoon of honey join me on the couch I need to take a break and let my temper cool down. Dam the door and it's engineers #####. I retreated to my craft room and hid. Now for the darlings to learn how to use the new door. Mama cat was inside and Bubba outside pushing against each side at the same time. Mama gave up went to the kitchen screen door and disappeared out the torn opening. So much for spending money.
